Restaldi has for centuries built billiard tables of any shape, style, material and size which furnish the most unusual rooms, by often creating through their presence a unique atmosphere, also by providing a moment of gathering for the whole family and closest friends. Nevertheless, due to descriptive requirements and need for expository clarity we consider it necessary to have recourse to a first, but essential, tripartition of the most common typologies of existing billiard tables, aware of the limits that every kind of classification has, but certain of your appreciation and ready to provide you with all the missing details.

ITALIAN BILLIARDS
(narrow pockets)

There are three regulation sizes for the playing surface of such type of table:
cm.(260x130) called Standard Match
cm.(270x135) called Demi-Match
cm.(280x140) called Grand Match

Fitted with double-panelled cushions and six pockets of size 70/75 mm, they allow play both with the cue and with the hands: in fact, different game specialities can be played on such billiard tables, including:

• cue ITALIANA “5 skittles”
• GORIZIANA cue “9 skittles”
• Cue balls “5 skittles”
• 8 & 15

AMERICAN BILLIARDS
(wide pockets)

The regulation size of the playing surface of the AMERICAN POOL billiard table is cm. (254x127)

With six pockets, one in each corner and one halfway along the long cushions, and corner cushions (carom type) with a height of 35 mm, billiard tables for the American game are used for the following specialities:

• 8-ball
• 9-ball
• Continous 14.1

INTERNATIONAL BILLIARDS
(without pockets)

The regulation size of the playing surface of the INTERNATIONAL type of billiards table is cm. (284x142) with cannon cushions.

There disciplines are practised on this billiards table:

• Cue INTERNATIONAL “5 quilles”
• Jacks “5 quilles”
• Cannon

n cases where the chosen room for the billiards table is a little smaller than those described above (for example, due to the presence of a column), it will all within our consideration to supplement the set provided with a series of cues of reduced sizes (from cm.80 to 120) in such a way as to allow shots which would otherwise be made difficult by the closeness of an obstacle In conclusion, with it being possible to completely dismantle it and packaged with care, a billiards table, thus transportable, following high-precision assembly, takes on a weight which, according to the chosen model, can vary from 350 to 1000 kg; weight, in any case, equally distributed in order that it can be borne without risks by the supporting surfaces.
